I went to an out-of-town church feeling chipper and sunny
‘til I heard that preacher say, “Put in all your folding money”
He kept pacing, and yelling, that man did plead
With a buck in my pocket I was the one in need
“Without seed faith you won’t go very far”
Bet his gold Rolex cost more than my car
I left that service feeling so very, very bad
Absolutely worst day in church I ever had
In his BMW he raced from the parking lot like a dart
“Dear Lord, I sure pray my 12 year old car will start”
